I had a great experience with US Mortgage Investments as a first-time, single homebuyer! I had already had my offer accepted on a property, when the lender I was pre-approved with significantly increased my rate. In a panic, I started asking around to see if there were other options. My friends, who were also in the home-buying process, recommended them to me after having the same experience with a big national lender. Within 30 minutes, I was on the phone with Eric. We discussed my situation and were able to lock in a rate that was 1% lower than the rate the other lender was offering. It seemed too good to be true, but it's not! They also got me a $1500 credit that the other lender didn't. At that point, it was a no-brainer that I would switch to work with them. Eric and Becky made the closing process super easy and answered all the questions I had. Even after closing, they are there to answer my questions and help talk through any confusion I have. I really can't recommend them enough!

Buying our home was one of the easiest things I've ever done. Shawn and his team were essential in making the process so seamless/expeditious despite several wildcards I gave them. We found our house first and then came to Shawn to get pre-approved. As this is my first time buying a home, I'm not sure how long the process usually takes but we had a pre-approval letter in less than 24 hours. I've waited longer at the airport! Then when I had cold feet -- literally, after everything was signed/dated I reneged -- Shawn was super understanding. Fast-forward a few days later, when I regretted not buying the home, he re-ran numbers/scenarios. I was put completely at ease and felt confident moving forward the second time around. I should add this all occurred when interest rates were starting to go up. His quick action saved us quite a lot of money, which is the most important thing you want from a mortgage company. As we neared our closing date, Shawn was in constant communication with us/handholding. He even contacted our lender's IT/customer service on my behalf during the underwriting process when I was having issues with their website. This was certainly outside the scope of his job and beyond any expectation, but so appreciated. Truly, any issue was a non-issue because of his dedication and mindfulness. We closed 6-weeks after first seeing our home, which is no small feat especially given the circumstances. Thank you so much for making it possible!
