Owner Shawn Poppler started originating mortgage loans in 2002.  After a few years of working for another mortgage company, it became apparent to Shawn that things needed to be handled differently. Customers had been calling the office complaining about the level of service they were receiving from the other loan officers within company. The practice of service without benefits to the customer led Shawn to the idea of starting a business that would elevate this standard of practice.

Shawn had a vision of starting a company that would not only treat its clients in the best manner possible, but would also educate them and get them into loans that best suited their needs. He also felt that there was no need to charge ridiculously high fees just for someone to get the service that they deserve.  The vision became a reality when Shawn opened the doors to US Mortgage Investments in 2006.
